The Origins of Culture

· A Pilgrimage ·

We’re launching with a traveling investigation into the rooms, scenes, and moments that informed the culture we’ve inherited. Everything we learn is archived for the people designing what’s next.

The Subject

Cultural origin stories.

The concept — every scene and movement that ever mattered started the same way. A small group of people found each other in the right room, with no audience and no business model, and something caught fire.

Paradise Garage. Warhol’s Factory. Esalen. The Second Summer of Love. The pattern repeats across music, art, consciousness, and technology.

We begin wide, then dive deep.

Three days, three acts.

I

Honor the past

Fireside interviews with the elders and wisdom keepers who were in the room when the moments happened. One stage, one track — everyone shares the same story.

Meet the present

Culture as it emerges — multidisciplinary perspectives from the people making scenes right now, in conversation, in the studio, and around the table.

III

Design the future

A vast canvas — what we build with what we’ve learned. The conversations that turn a gathering into a decade of collaborations.

A Day in the Life

The run of show bends time.

No two days repeat, but every day breathes: movement at first light, ideas in the morning, hands in the afternoon, magic after dark. The party starts early and ends with a lullaby — the big night is second-to-last, so we always land softly.

Music is the medium — woven through every moment, not confined to the party.

SunriseMovement and mindfulness at twilight into dawn, accompanied by a live ambient set.
BreakfastSmoothies and bowls as we gather around a first dharma talk.
MorningFireside chats with the people who were in the room when it happened.
LunchDecompression and conversation — intimate deep dives, not performative long tables.
AfternoonBreakouts in the Gallery and the Studio — learn to make art and moments of your own.
DinnerFood at the forefront — carve from the spit roast, join facilitated conversation to integrate the day.
EveningCreatively programmed performances and immersive experiential pockets. Here’s where the magic emerges.

Always On

The Living Room travels with us.

A custom, immersive common space that comes to every gathering — vinyl playing, soft lighting, lounge seating. A familiar place to gather and connect that always feels like home.

Around it: intentional pockets for two to four people. Some programmed — a vinyl DJ, a backgammon table. Some just space for conversation, scattered with clever prompts.

Spectator → participator → co-creator.
